• From Stag Canyon Vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley this very fruit forward wine is reminiscent of a full bodied Argentinian style wine with powerful aromatics and subtle tannins making for an extremely smoothe and quaffable wine.
  • The original name of a surfer in the Hawaiian Islands and a tribute to my time on Maui, this bold blend of 65% Tierra Alta Syrah and 35% La Presa Petit Sirah begs for steak. Approachable now but will age gracefully. Only 70 cases made.
  • This year the blend is 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Cabernet Franc. The structure is more readily apparent than past vintages. The tannins are layered and complex. The Merlot imparts lovely hints of plum while the Cabernets provide deepening blackcurrent with a hint of eucalyptus. 66 cases produced.
