Grenache is a complex wine with heavy spice notes that is berry driven wine but soft on the palate and easy to enjoy. It is also lighter in weight than most wine because of its thin skin but makes an excellent red wine to enjoy in summer months. Planted widely in Spain and France it is mostly often blended with Syrah, Mourvedre in Rhone style wines and Tempranillo in Spain.
